Does anyone know how chair positions at All-Eastern (MENC) is decided?
The literature they sent us said that you audition for chair position
once you get there. But you are supposed to arrive knowing your music
and they sent my son Clarinet 2 music (Mahler's 5th Symphony). I ordered
the Clarinet 1 music - and he's hoping that there will really be
auditions. We cannot figure out how chair positions for kids from
different States could be decided without auditions.
