Jim

Nice to hear about your Tucapsky work. I gave the first performance
(amateur!) of his Dialogues for clarinet and piano, 15 - 20 years ago, at=

Warwick University. Angela Malsbury did the pro performance at Wigmore
Hall. I think he's a very good composer, and I think he has tunes, but
maybe your audience doesn't!

I'm at a bit of a loss for a tuneful cl/pf Czech piece, though! Better
arrange some Dvorak, though I have a very vague memory of a Smetana piece=
.

>I was just asked to play at the Czech Embassy in Wash DC in early March,=

with a work by Czech composer Antonin Tucapsky for cl, voice and Piano
(Love
and Sorrow-5 Moravian Folk Songs; something we did a few years ago).

Was asked if I could also play something for cl and pf. also by a Czech
Composer, preferably something "tuneful."

Any suggestions?
