Actually, I have a warm place somewhere in my heart for tenor sax
players, especially those that can get to a high concert D (the one that
comes _after_ the 88th key on the piano - live - with good tone &
stability. Done by Johnny Almond on the John Mayall "Turning Point"
album, the song "California"). The kids & I were listening to my old
albums from the basement, and we just _had_ to figure out how high he
got.
