It was I who wanted to get an idea of what was in David Pino's book.
Thank you so much for taking the time to respond.

It sounds like a worthwhile addition to my small but select library of
books on clarinet.

The one thing you quoted or paraphrased from his book about factory made
reeds causing players to loose that body of knowledge they would have
gotten from going through the reed making process sure hit a nerve with
me. I sure know a lot of people who try a reed and if it doesn't work,
they give it the wall test. Kind of an expensive testing procedure isn't
it?
