I've read of the great qualities of aged reeds, and so, two years ago I put a
pair of boxes of Vandoren's (Clarinet 3.5 V-12, Tenor Sax 3 V-16) away in Safe
Deposit. Granted, Safe Deposit isn't the most pristine enviroment for anything,
but it kep them safe.

I was wondering if in 2 years they would have improved in any significant
amount. I wouldn't want to break the plastic seal and try them. Just how long do
a fairly improved boxed set of reeds take to age into betterness. (I hope
someone at least understands what I'm trying to say.)

I've just been having a terrible time with reeds recently, and none give a good
sound; that is why I remembered the boxes.
