Hi Dominic,
The Johan Kvandal Quintet Op. 34 was published
by Norsk Musickforlag in 1974. It's an incredible
piece of music, and has a wonderful clarinet part.

Mr. Kvandal also has 3 Hymn Tunes for WWQ that
you might enjoy.
My quintet (welcome to visit us at www.nmwq.org)
just performed the Op. 34 last month. We were able
to get in touch with the Bergen Quintet (email!)
who told us that the premiere was given by the Oslo
Quintet in return for 25 bottles of red wine! : )
They also mentioned that Mr. Kvandal was facing
serious surgery, does anyone know how he is
doing?
