He probably wrote 'embouchure'; but you do need something further, which
we might just as well call an 'embrasure';-)

The way to do it is this: you lightly lay the length of your tongue flat
along the surface of the reed, and then blow whilst maintaining the
contact. This 'embrasure' considerably lowers the pitch of the low E,
and a very relaxed embouchure completes the pitch change to Eb.

Practise the intonation by repeating a descending and ascending Eb major
arpeggio.

I did it once or twice in performance.
