Erin,
I use a product called denture cushions, they are used by people with dentures
and fit between the gum and the denture. They are made of what appears to be
a wax covered cloth. They can be cut into pieces and when wet, they form-fit
over your teeth perfectly. They can last months, but I try and make new ones
just to prevent excessive bacterial growth. Of course you can clean the as
well. They are very inexpensive and a package can last years. I used to use
waterproof tape to make teeth cushions, but find that this product works much
better and lasts much longer.
