Six pages took you two days in Finale, using a so-called "speedy entry?"

With Encore, using only a mouse to enter notes and rests, I entered a 56-page
String Quartet movement in less than two days -- entered each of the four parts
individually, and then copied and pasted to make a score from which to write a WW
Quintet transcription. If it took me two days to enter six pages, I'd never get
anything done.

I remain hopeful that G-Vox will be able to continue with their development of
Encore, and will be able to remedy its relatively few shortcomings. It has the
most intuitive interface of any notation program I've seen.

If Encore doesn't develop further, I'll probably go for Sibelius. I bought Finale,
and in my opinion it's a needlessly complicated, user-UNfriendly piece of software
that was designed for engineers to use, not musicians. Just my 2ยข worth.
