I tried them a couple of years ago. I found them well made, but they didn't
work for me. The cane was decent quality and the blank was quite thick. I
think my problem is that the German blanks don't work on my mouthpiece (a
Vandoren B40). I have had rotten luck with the Vandoren Black Masters as
well. But, I have many friends that play and love them.

Try a box and see how you like them for yourself.
