Then perhaps its the shape-quality of the Chaddash
barrel that is making the difference. Although
my gut tells me wood is better, my preconception
is challenged by people like Bay making upgrade
barrels of alternate materials. The only non wood
upgrade barrels I've tried are Spriggs, nylon I believe.
I didn't like it and associated sound-material relationship.
All cheap plastic-rubber barrels I've tried lack allot.
Always used good quality wood barrels.

Like to hear reports, opinions on quality barrels
using alternate materials vs wood.
