Here's where a plastic horn (paired with a good mouthpiece) would be quite
appropriate. The mail order places sell the top brands (Buffet B-12, Selmer
Bundy, Leblanc Vito, & the Yamaha plastic) for around $360 new. You can
pick them up at garage sales for a song and most will only need a few pads
and maybe some adjustment.
