Subj: [kl] HENRI DUBOIS clarinet

Another pad fell off on Sunday so I brought the clarinet to work so that I
can drop in off with the repair man after work. I am going to have it
overhauled - new pads, oiled, adjusted, etc... It was my late uncle's
clarinet so I want to get if fixed up for sentimental reasons.

Lelia ask what the serial number was on my clarinet. Below is the model name
and serial number. The case is wood with black leather on the outside and
purple inside. There is a place in the case for each piece of the clarinet
unassembled and well as a place for oil and wax.

Model Name
==========
"Superior"
HENRI DUBOIS
Paris

Serial Number
=============
S
818C

Does the serial number offer any information about the clarinets age or
value?

Sincerely,

Joe
