In some of the practical study at the Queensland
Conservatorium(B.Mus-Intensive Major;Post-Graduate Diploma and Masters
Degree)the student is entitled to 1.5-2 hrs of lessons per week.
My colleague,Brian Catchlove(Queensland Symphony Orchestra)and I share
the teaching of some of these students.Usually,I ask Brian to
concentrate on orchestral repertoire, and I take them for the solo and
chamber music repertoire.
