Eh, to be politically correct, you should probably use "Black" as
opposed to some derivation of "African-X". Just my humble opinion. I
always hated when people would go out of their way to address me as an
African-American. Black is easier. I would have problems trying to
address my friends by THEIR family lineages; uh,
Russian-German-Irish-American. Oh well.

Ed, I'm not black, but the term "African American" IS the politically
correct one from all that I have heard, and read. I much prefer black
(myself), and think that the African American stuff is silly, but then
again - I didn't make the "rules". (what if they are Caribbean american,
etc....).
