If you buy a copy of the Rubank Elementary Method Book, the fingering chart
that comes with it has the Albert system on one side and the Boehm on the
other. However be sure it is the elementary book as their other volumes
show only the Boehm. Also be sure the chart hasn't fallen out when you
purchase it.

If you know what to look for and how to evaluate the age and condition and
possible repair cost of a used clarinet you can get some really good buys.
Just be careful that you don't spend too much as many sellers think they can
get almost new price for their used horn. On the other hand, buying a new
instrument is the "safe" course as you do get a warranty and can insist that
the store take it back if you are unhappy with it.
