Subj: [kl] A couple of questions...
Date: Thu, 4 Feb 1999 17:45:52 -0500

I have just a few questions that I hope some of you can help me with...
1. What is the difference between a Buffet R-13 and a Vintage R-13? Which is
a better "investment"? What do you guys like better?
2. I have an old Albert System clarinet that I bought at a garage sale for
$25. While I will probably not restore it to playing condition, I do not wish
to make it into a lamp. Where could I find a fingering chart for this kind of
clarinet? (I just want it for a display).
3. For those of you who have clarinets that have been "brannenized," what
exactly did he do? Were you satisfied with the work? Is it worth the cost?
4. Would I be better off buying an older clarinet, or one that is brand new?
Benefits or problems of either?

I'm really serious into making this purchase and actually have my parents
backing me on this, so any advice would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in
advance.

Jennifer Brinkley
