The Buffet family dropped out of the business a long time back! All the
new R-13 players are playing Boosey & Hawkes clarinets, anyway: The
Boosey instrument division acquired Besson in 1948, Buffet-Crampon,
Paesold, Schreiber and Winter in 1981, Keilwerth in 1989, Hofner in
1994, and Rico in 1996.
