...one person's experience with a single instrument obviously proves very
little, but I do feel compelled to note that I got my granddaughter a
"Buffet" B-12 [this, I believe is the Evette to which you refer!] a few
months ago.

It played well for me during the "audition" process...I found it had a
smooth action, very good intonation, and a most pleasing sound. My
granddaughter, in turn, likes it much better than the Yamaha she had been
using.

The "competition" during my "audition" was the student Yamaha. I haven't
played a Selmer 100. Fred S.
