Sorry for the blank message, I hit a wrong key.

Down to business,

What happens if the bore oil comes in contact with the pads? I have oiled my instrument regularly for over 8 years, and have never encountered problems. My current set of pads is about 2 years old, and working well. Maybe I am missing something?
