Oddly enough, there are actually TWO different Selmer Omega models. One is
made in USA, and is based on the Selmer 100/200/300 design. It is made of
unstained Grenadilla and has silver plated keys. It also has unique and
attractive engraving on the bell. It is the top of the Selmer USA line,
and distribution is limited to particular dealers. There is also a Paris
Omega, which I believe is similar, if not identical, to the Prologue. It
is priced as a step down from the other Selmer Paris clarinets. It has
silver plated keys and a fixed thumbrest. The one I tried played very
well. I wonder what the differences between it and the other Selmers
really are.

If you have to mic a saxophone, the rest of the band is too loud.
