I use almond oil from the health food store twice a year on my own clarinets.
And I routinely oil any wood clarinets that I work on. Isn't it logical to
treat a fine wood instrument like a fine piece of furniture? (I'm serious as I
write this but I'm starting to chuckle as I think of all the times Abe Galper
has reminded me to practice.)
