Thanks, David, for the sad news about Laura's MIDI heaven. Starting around
five years ago I wrote periodically to Laura about her site. One of my
early messages
said that I was such a chicken about putting any recent material on my Web
site that
I confined my offerings to pieces by composers long dead. I asked
specifically if the
Disney lawyers had been after her -- they have a well deserved reputation
for going
after nursery school teachers who put up posters of Minnie Mouse. She replied
that at that moment in time the copyright lawyers seemed to be going after
people
offering full performance .WAV files, but that MIDI offerings had not yet
been targeted.

I guess that that time has come.
