And has anyone got information on the Boosey 8-10 (from what I
understand, the "little brother" of the 10-10), and why it always plays
sharp for me?

The barrel measures 63.5mm from ferrule to ferrule, and I'm playing it
with a Vandoren B45 mp. [Short barrel??]
