Hi Tony,

I don't know if this is the kind of thing you're talking about, but I've
found the Valentino pads, bumpers, tenon "corks", etc. to be very easy to
install quickly. They seal easily, etc. I usually try to keep some with me
during honor band rehearsals/performances and I keep some in my clarinet
case for emergencies. Some others may have comments on those. They come
with their own adhesive under a peel-off backing.

Carl.......Add me to the Valentino Fan list. I love their products. In fact,
I'm currently overhauling my bass clarinet top to bottom with Valentino pads
(and corks).

Certain keys on my upper joint get a LOT of water and leather pads just harden
over the years. I am hoping the Valentino pads will be completely unaffected.

They're a LOT easier to seat, even if you do wind up floating them in.
