Not much you can do to salvage the pad. But it is like trying to tape
together your windshield wipers. Break down and buy a new pad for 50
cents. Any music store with even rudimentary repair facilities will have
them. Or spend the BIG bucks and have them install it. It should be a
while-you-wait job unless they are really backed up. You could even have
them install a cork pad there so it won't happen again (on that particular
key, which is often a trouble spot).
