Most people would think, rightly I'd say, that you shouldn't photocopy
such a thing, unless you're in an emergency. Perhaps the piece is
reprinting, and therefore unavailable for a bit.

Another solution to this sort of problem is to locate a store that
carries it (by telephoning around -- big place, US, and I believe you
can also reach even say, the UK on your telephones) and then pay by
credit card for it to be sent to you.

I often have to explain this to students in Italy, who have never
considered such a procedure, and who continually lament their inability
to obtain music, CDs etc that they imagine are freely available
elsewhere.

Italy itself, of course, is largely photocopied -- in contrast to
England, which is largely held together by BluTak.
