I agree with Mum's advice. You could also try something that will
distract you when you are auditioning. In high school, I wore knee socks
I knew would fall down or a skirt that I had to squirm around in to keep
decent - in addition to knowing the music. Took first chair in Districts
every time except one - and I lost that one to a guy who now writes music
for Disney in Florida...
