I've just been listening to a number of band CD's, and the standout is the
Field Band's tribute to Edwin Franko Goldman. Fantastic vibrant playing
and a recording that makes you feel like you're in the middle of the band
(not sure I like giving the clarinet solo in Oberon Ov.to cornet though!
:) ). Anyway, our own Klarinetter Tom Puwalski is listed in the section,
and Tom if you're reading, congrats! I'm confused about the difference
between Principal and Section Leader (separate functions in each section).
Can Tom or anyone describe the difference?
