Yup, that's probably where Shadow got the idea. She's seen my videos and I'm
afraid they gave her ideas. The movies were based on the classic fantasy
novel, _She: A History of Adventure_, published in 1886, by H. Rider Haggard.
It's been filmed at least five times (1917, 1926, 1935, 1965 and 1985; some of
these also had sequels). The classic film, although it's re-set at the North
Pole, is the 1935 version, directed by Irving Pichel, with Lansing C. Holden,
Helen Gahagan, Randolph Scott, Helen Mack, Nigel Bruce and Gustav von
Seyffertitz, with a fine score by Max Steiner. The best-known of the B movies
is the 1965 Hammer version directed by Robert Day, with Ursula Andress and
John Richardson.

in places like your shoes or on the bed.... The repairman thought he
was going crazy when I brought it in for an overhaul. "Jesus K. Reyst,
buddy," he asked me, "was your cat trying to play this?" "No," I said,

LOL! I sure hope Shadow didn't read that.... Guess from now on, I'd better
keep the case closed while I'm practicing.
