I think perhaps this is a case of OVER-sensitivity to ethnic differences.
I see no evidence of any cross-cultural linguistic problems at all. Of
course, I didn't think it was necessary to LOOK for them, either. All I
see are common errors made by people who's FIRST language is English, but
who have only been speaking it for 5 or 6 years. They are therefore funny
under the heading of "Kids Say the Darndest Things." But, yes, they have
been around a while.
