What I did was to order the Sonido Orchestra Gold Soundfont CD for my
SBlaster Live. IMO the clar sounds pretty good in that soundfont(there are
also many different clarinet sounds to choose from). I have also kept the
Wavesynth WG from my AWE64 installation.
