I originally went to double lip as a way to help me with single lip
embouchure problems. When i play single lip now ( if i play a lot of
Eb and get very tired, e.g.) i find that *if i pay attention to my
embouchure* i can't tell much difference. But, if i just play and
don't concentrate, i can fall into bad practices which hurt the
quality of my sound. Hence, for me, double lip is an easy way to
mind my embouchure.
