Teri,
This may be true, but I can tell you from my own experience that I
usually DON'T leave my clarinet "assembled and ready to go" (kids and
cat), and I will sit down at the piano (assembled and ready) about ten
times a day and pick up my guitar (pre-strung and on a stand) about
three times a day and take my clarinet out usually when I have a gig
coming up!
Unfortunate, but true!
