Actually, w/ regards to quality midi, I have found that the Yamaha XG
emulator
is quite good. There are two versions, the S-YXG20 and the S-YXG50 (the
S-YXG50 being the better one, designed for upper end computers). I
don't have
anything else, so I really can't make a good comparison, but my midi
does
sound WAY better than those of my friends. And, to top it off, Yamaha
XG
player is free for download at the Yamaha website.
