I have seen this piece listed on a few state contest lists, and I haven't
been able to find much about the composer or the piece.

Is anyone out there able to tell me more than what I found on an old
record jacket (of McGinnis playing): L. Quet was an obscure French
composer, and the Petite Piece is found on a number of state contest music
lists.

My first question would have to be: What is his first name?

And other questions include: When was the piece written? Did he write
more than one clarinet work?
