I agree- What a stupid thing for list members to do- By virtue of his
position, Mr. Kloc has the most to offer us about the clarinet world and
petty discussions about "which clarinet is better" and even more serious
ethnic generalizations about the French have chased him away. I for one
valued his comments, understood his improving English, and enjoyed reading
his posts. I do hope he will reconsider and jump into our conversations
again. And as for which clarinet is better- it doesn't matter at all.
They are DIFFERENT, thats all. No clarinet is a substitute for hard work
and talent. If ya ain't got it musically, if ya ain't gonna work at it
till ya drop, the solid gold horn made in heaven won't make you sound any
better. Period.
