Dan, I think I owe you an apology. As you can imagine, I had you very
much in mind when I wrote that Manasse played a cadenza. As I hit the
"send" key, I knew that you were going to respond to that message, and I
had a pretty good idea of the nature of your response. So, I caused you
to have to write a fairly long message, using time which might better have
been spent on other useful pursuits. Still, I thank you for pointing out
the latest musicological thinking concerning eingange, saving me the
trouble of doing so. :-)
