Kristen,

I am currently in my 1st year here at DePaul University in Chicago. I
chose this school over Indiana University, University of Michigan, and
Oberlin College and Conservatory for the simple fact that it is in
Chicago and because the faculty here is the best ever (IMHO :) <--list,
please don't harass me about that statement). Mr. Larry Combs, Mr. John
Bruce Yeh, and Mrs. Julie DeRoche make up the faculty here. Another
advantage of DePaul is the "small" setting. If you like more individual
attention, you can definitely find that here.

You can't lose here at DePaul. You can minor or major in other areas as
well. You are not restricted to the music school. To top it all off,
the Chicago Symphony is only 8 minutes away on the train (free for
students by the way!).

I have to run to class now. So, good luck! Please e-mail me with any
other questions.
