Yet the Yamama pro saxes seem to be suffering from the same trouble Leblanc
and Selmer clarinets have: they get no respect! Everybody has to have the
Selmer sax, or else! We had that one Yamaha alto in stock for a couple of
years. Even at my employee discount, though, buying it would cost me
money, whereas the horn I already owned was, in effect, free. We finally
sold it at a tremendous discount. Somebody got a heckuva deal on a great
sax! And now I will never get to play it any more!
