Take my word for it Tony, it's great! Especially the way my mother made it.
And thank for a sympathetic and generally accurate accessment of what I am
saying.
The marriage analogy, though helpful, does break down. In a real human
marriage, of course, its' give and take. With the clarinet it's a one-way
street: the clarinet takes, you give. So it really behoves us to find out
what the clarinet is really going to demand of us, since it won't change.
What is really exciting to me, is not the stuggle with the instrument, but
what we can create together when we work together; then not just I, but
listerners get excited.......remember the listeners, everyone?
