Bravo Tom. I had been about to send something that <kidding> made the
case that you and Roger were *both* right, and that the difference
between you was probably just the difference in perspective beween an
instrument designer and a pedagogue, and so you shouldn't fight
</kidding>, but your post does it all so much more elegantly and
conclusively that I've binned mine.
May I also say that this particular post of yours, even more than your
previous ones about the actual clarinets, has stimulated me to go out
and try really seriously the instruments that you were involved in
designing. I shall also look at those you have commended.
