Klarinet Archive - Posting 000776.txt from 1999/01

I am trying out the new Buffet 1193-2.

Have any of you out there had difficulties with the instrument "settling
down" i.e., pads not covering, changing radically, to the point of the
instrument not functioning?

This has happened to me twice. Been to repair twice, and it is doing it again.

What the heck is Brannenizing? It's not a new dry cleaning process by any
chance?
