Although I graduated from college with a degree in music 25 years ago, I
have only recently joined the ranks of "professional" musicians, by which I
mean I receive pay for my services. By continuing to play for my own
enjoyment during my military career, I have grown to this point. Also, I
now work in a music store, currently as the head of school services and the
band instrument department. It is the sort of position that uses some of
that accumilated musical knowledge, and develops contacts for any gigging
you may want to do.

If you have to mic a saxophone, the rest of the band is too loud.
