Last year I played the Aubert Lemeland "5 new pieces for solo clarinet"
(original title in French!) which I really enjoyed. They're a bit different
- not at all run-of-the-mill. Also, the Hallvard Johnsen "Suite for
clarinet solo" op. 58 is very effective, IMHO. Only problem is that they
may be quite hard to get hold of.
