In my opinion, musicians are perfectly free to make their living playing
or writing whatever music they want; I do not hold their success against
them, and their choice in music does not lessen their talent.
Just because I don't want to listen to their music doesn't mean it is
bad: it is just not for me.
This goes for Kenny G or Benny Goodman or Richard Stoltzman or (insert
ANYONE's name here) or .....
How pompous it would be to suggest that there is only one type of
"acceptable" music!
