I'm with you. I am one of the most fastidious spellers you will ever see,
and I find it appalling that spelling is not emphasised more in schools.
But this is not the orthography list. People who insist upon correcting
others' spelling should go off and create one. The rest of us will discuss
clarinets and anything else that that discussion leads us to, without
attempting to intimidate others with our shiny 3rd-grade spelling bee trophies.
