Re: Legere reeds
I finally (after a LONG wait) got the Legere reed I ordered for my bass. It
seems pretty stiff and needs some work. For those of you who've used them,
have you tried working on them? What did you use? sandpaper, dutch rush,
file? It just doesn't feel like a "real" reed to me. I also feel like my
ligature, a Winslow, doesn't hold it securely. What do you use?
