Hello karena,

In regards to your doubling (tripling) dilemma...
My experience with flute parts is that they nearly always are WAY up in
the stratosphere - most notes above the staff. The correct fingerings
for those really high notes can be a pain if you're not used to them,
not to mention the embouchure and breath focus needed for a clear
sound. If the range does go that high, it might go out of your
comfortable clarinet range and you would probably take it down the
octave.

The best solution for you might be to pencil in the really high notes
down the octave and play it on flute. It will be great experience for
you and will build up your flute chops, and, depending on the musical,
there may even be quite a few parts you can learn to play as is.
