Subj: [kl] Lip scrapes

Since I took up the clarinet (again) and sax, I've virtually
always had scrapes in the sides of my mouth.

This is *not* biting through my lip--I know what that feels
like, as I did it when I was in high school--it's something (I
guess either the corners of my incisors or the points of my
cuspids) *scraping*, not cutting.

When I was in the Navy, a dentist ground down my upper and lower
incisors before I knew what he was doing (they used to be
ridged, which never bothered me!--a lot of Navy dentists view
patients as guinea pigs, FYI). Could this be it? It *did*
leave
them kinda sharp on the corners...

Should I have the corners ground down? Opinions? Thanks!
